V3 Valve / HEPA Filter Fault

Support Level
Tier 1 (User Resolvable)
System Analysis

Description

The autoclave detected an issue during the decompression phase — likely involving the V3 valve or the HEPA filter.

This fault may result from:

  • A clogged HEPA (bacteriological) filter, restricting airflow
  • A blocked or faulty V3 solenoid valve responsible for decompression
  • In rare cases, a mainboard malfunction causing incorrect sensor interpretation.

Remember! Replace the HEPA filter every 1000 cycles or every 12 months.

1. Remove the old HEPA filter

Unscrew the used filter and take it out. Dispose of it according to local regulations.

2. Install the new HEPA filter

Insert the new filter and tighten it securely. Make sure it is properly seated.

3. Reset the HEPA counter

Reset the HEPA filter counter on the autoclave display.
